How does the Pattern Club work?
Once you have purchased your subscription, you will be sent a download link via Sendowl (the subscription platform). You will find the Welcome Kit there and your bonus signup pattern. If you have signed up after the Pattern Club has started, you will also see any other released patterns there, ready for download.
How do I get my patterns?
The patterns are all digital files available in PDF format. You download them and then save them to your computer. I recommend saving them to a desktop or a USB drive so you have access to them at a later date.
An email with a download link for the PDF will be sent to Pattern Club members containing the three patterns for that month. This is automated via Sendowl, the subscription platform. Additionally, if you select to receive newsletters at the checkout, you will receive a monthly Pattern Club newsletter from me outlining the blocks, information and hints and tips.
Please note all patterns are digital, and in PDF format. Pattern difficulty ranges from easy patterns through to some more complex ones. With a little practice and some patience however, I have faith you can sew them all!
Are there curves involved? I hate sewing curves
Nope! No curves to be found here! While the patterns are all rounded and feature wreath style designs, there’s not a single curve included. Worry not! 😉
I signed up after some of the patterns have already been released. Do I still get them?
Short answer – yes! Long answer – If you have signed up after some of the patterns have already been sent out (i.e. after 7th January), you will get immediate access to the previously released patterns on your download link, and then receive future patterns on the 7th of each month as they are released.
What’s included in the Pattern Club besides the patterns?
You can access a Welcome Kit for immediate download on signup. It includes a colouring sheet for all the new blocks, suggested rainbow fabrics that you can use and links to fabric stores stocking kits, general guidelines on fabric requirements and foundation paper piecing instructions.
In terms of the monthly installments… given there’s a whole lot of rainbow and colour, colouring sheets are included in each pattern to help plan out fabric choices, as well as a listing of fabric requirements for each block. The patterns have assembly instructions with diagrams, as well as full templates with seam allowance already added.
Does the Pattern Club include instructions on how to foundation piece?
Written instructions are included in the Welcome Kit. You can also find some hints and tips by clicking here.
I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
As these are digital products, there is no refund available due to change of mind. If there is a problem with one of the patterns, please contact me directly (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I’ll help sort it out.
What paper should I print my patterns on?
Well, it just happens I have a specialty foundation piecing paper available with Riley Blake Designs. The paper is thinner, lightweight and tears away easier when piecing. You can find it at Moonlight Quilters. Alternatively you can use regular printer paper – I recommend using recycled paper as it’s thinner.
Is there a fabric bundle to go with the Pattern Club?
Yes, there sure is! We have three awesome quilt shops helping out with fabric! Moonlight Quilters in the United States, The Next Stitch in Australia and Cow and Giraffe in the UK are teaming up to bring fabric kits to you!
Moonlight Quilters is offering two different versions – one with my collection Dream, and another of Confetti Cotton solids.
The Next Stitch and Cow and Giraffe are both offering a Dream version.
PS sign up for the Pattern Club first, and download your Welcome Kit for the direct Fabric Kit links and full details.
I already own the pattern from the archives. Can I swap it?
Sure can! I want you to gather a collection of patterns to add to your stash that you love. So if you already have the pattern from the archive, you can email me with your receipt, and let me know which pattern you’d prefer instead.
