Imagine Fabric Range
I'm very excited to introduce you to my newest fabric line for Riley Blake Designs - Imagine!
Imagine features little geometric dragonflies, stars, hexies and of course - a whole bunch of rainbow! There are 24 prints in this line featuring all the colours of the rainbow, along with a few low volumes as well as prints on a charcoal background. This collection gives you all the rainbow that you need in your stash!
Here's a little video to share the rainbow (with much thanks to my little assistant, my Miss 11).
If that's not enough rainbow for you, there's also a brilliant bonus this collection - a wide back print! After many requests, we've turned the Geometric Rainbow print (from my first line, Create) into a wide back. This print is 107/108" wide so it's perfect to back all your rainbow quilts!
While it's a little early for the advanced yardage fabrics to show up to sew up a storm, I've put together a bunch of fun little digital mockups to show you how the fabrics play together!
I've designed two new quilt patterns for this line to show off all the colours! Dragonfly Flight is a throw quilt that mixes traditional piecing with foundation paper piecing. It's a modern take on an Irish Chain - featuring the geometric dragonfly as a wreath in the centre.
The second quilt is completely foundation pieced and makes for a fantastic colour wheel to show off all the colours of the rainbow. It features little shapes within the colour wheel, plus a patchwork border.
I was fortunate to have this digitally printed version of the quilt to see how it would look in fabric. A big thank you to Vanessa of Sew Bunny for quilting it for me with a lovely all-over hearts panto. We took the quilt to a local park for a few little snaps ;)

I also couldn't resist mocking up a few of my favourite foundation pieced patterns to see how they'd look in Imagine. Here's a little glimpse!
This first pattern, Water Lillies, is a brand new pattern that is exclusive to the upcoming Quiet Play Pattern Club. It's a sweet little pattern that looks great in a range of fabrics. More details on the Pattern Club will be shared in the newsletter, with sign ups opening on the 9th December.
I've also revisited an old favourite pattern - Fractured Rainbow. This one was super fun to mix and match all the prints from Imagine to create a bright and cheerful block! This pattern is available as a PDF download in my store.
And how could I resist trying out a Geometric Star? It's just perfect for these rainbow colours from Imagine! This pattern is also available as a PDF download in my store.
